Performance Acceleration: 0-60mph in about 5 seconds.

Maximum speed: In excess of 130mph.

Engine Specification Type: Ford CVH 1649cc 8 valve.

Construction: Cast iron block with alloy head.

Valve Gear: 2 valves per cylinder, titanium springs with solid followers, single cam with Kent vernier timing.

Bottom End: Modified CVH crank with Zetec rods, custom forged pistons.

Maximum Power: 115BHP at wheels

Fuel System: Webber twin 45 DCOE carburettors with Facet competition fuel pump.

Fuel: Shell Optimax.

Ignition: Standard electronic module and coil, RS Turbo spark plugs.

Transmission Specification Gearbox: Standard Ford RS Turbo BC 5 Speed gearbox with LSD.

Driveshaft/ CV joints: Standard driveshafts/CV joints.

Body/Chassis Springs: 700lb/f rear springs, 220lb/f front springs.

Damping: Leda Stock Hatch spec adjustable oil dampers.

Bushes: Fully poly bushed all round.

Wheels: Ford original 13" pepperpot alloys.

Tyres: Dunlop D01J control tyres

Shell: 1989 Mk2 Fiesta XR2 in metallic grey.

Braking

 

Front: Standard sized grooved disks and Mintex pads.

Rear: Standard reconditioned drums.
